Kahlwax 6290 Berry wax is a pale wax derived from berry fruit peels of the Rhus Verniciflua tree native in China. 

Becasue a significant part of it melts at temperatures <30℃, 6290 Berry wax feels very silky and soft, comparable to a classic emollient.

In addition, 6290 is producing very soft textures and imprones significantly the sensory characteristics of O/W emulsions.

Additionally it is an excellent additive for oleogels, suitable for lip gloss formulations and mascaras, and works as an outstanding

pay-off enhancer in lipsticks. Although it is soft, 6290 improves break resistance in pencial preparations.
