Kahlwax 2442 is obtained from young leaves of the Brazilian palm tree Copernicia Cerifera.
The wax color depends on the age of the used leaves.
Utilizing young leaves results in a light yellow colored wax which is used for Kahlwax 2442 and its related qualities.
Kahlwax 2442 is very hard, creates high gloss, and has a good oil bonding capacity.
It improves the temperature resistance and structure of stick preparations and acts as a dispersing aid in mascaras.
